U.S. Defeats Australia To Claim Spot In World Title Game

TOWSON, Md. – Following another dominant victory by topping Australia, 17-2, in the semifinals on Thursday night, the United States has advanced to the gold medal game at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's World Championship.

The U.S. has now reached the title game in all 11 world championships held since 1982.

Team USA will face Canada on July 9 in Towson, Maryland, at 12 p.m. ET. The game, which will be a rematch of the last two world championships, is set to broadcast on ESPN2.
