North Carolina's conference schedule will likely become more difficult next season, when in addition to playing its annual home-and-away series against Duke and N.C. State the Tar Heels will play twice against Virginia and Pittsburgh.
The ACC on Friday announced the rotation of home and away conference games for the next two seasons. After playing twice next season against Virginia and Pitt, the Tar Heels during the 2017-18 season will play two regular-season games against Clemson and Notre Dame.
UNC plays two regular-season games annually against Duke and N.C. State, both of which are UNC's permanent partners in basketball.
