The UNC women’s basketball team didn’t miss a beat in their return home from a two-game road trip. Playing a team in Wake Forest that is still searching for its first ACC win, the Heels got out to a hot start, briefly let the Demon Deacons back into the game in the second quarter, then hit the accelerator again in the second half to end up with an easy victory that looked much like their previous two games. The final score was 76-51, with Lexi Donarski’s 17 points leading the way.
Both teams started the game a tick slow on offense, with Wake Forest mustering a 5-4 lead after the first five minutes.
