The Tar Heels are in Charlotte to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers later this evening in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. The last time the Heels participated in this bowl game, South Carolina sent them home packing and their coach got covered in mayonnaise. I’ll be honest, I don’t know that Mack Brown is super excited at the prospect of getting covered in mayo, but I do know this: it would be a good look to end the season on a high note by beating the Mountaineers, especially after a season with so much promise essentially played out very similar to last season.
