It was a familiar story for the North Carolina Tar Heels as they fell 67-66 to Wake Forest on Tuesday night. Well, to be fair to them, it was somewhat different, as while bad first halves have doomed them a lot this season, this time it was a bad second half.
After going into the break with a lead, the Demon Deacons started the second period on a 20-8 run to start the second half to go up by double digits. While Carolina went on a run themselves to make things close again, a collapse in the last five minutes doomed the Heels to a loss.
