A season that was careening out of control has been steadied and now after a 81-66 win over Virginia, Carolina somehow has their NCAA fate fully in their hands.
For the third game in a row the Tar Heels led a team wire-to-wire which per ESPN is the first time that’s happened since the 2018-19 season. Somehow Carolina has managed to make people feel somewhat optimistic about the season again, and there’s still time for Carolina to make some noise this season. They won’t get much time to soak this in, as they have to head down to Tallahassee tomorrow for a game against Florida State.
