I know that some Carolina fans feel like we’ve been going through it since Roy Williams left the program, but former UVA head coach Tony Bennett leaving Charlottesville has been pretty bad. We all knew that he had a way of maximizing output from his rosters, even in years where he didn’t have a couple of future NBA players. I don’t know what he would’ve done with this year’s team, but I do know that the Cavaliers are one loss away from being sub-.500, which is something that they haven’t dealt with since the 2009-10 season. There’s a bit of basketball left, sure, but it’s truly not looking too good for them.
