The Tar Heels did what they were supposed to do last night and took down UC Riverside 77-52. There were signs of brilliance from Hubert Davis’ squad, but there were also signs of struggle that we will get into in just a moment. Though perhaps the highlight of the night was seeing Jalen Washington and Seth Trimble put on a show on the offensive side of the ball. There’s a lot of depth on this Carolina team, so it was good to see two guys that were basically non-factors last season remind us all of what they can get done on the court.
