As the literal last team in the field, the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team were selected for the NCAA Tournament on Sunday. There was plenty of consternation from people around college basketball about whether or not UNC was deserving, but no matter what your opinion about that is, it’s now time for basketball.
Tonight, Carolina will make their first ever appearance in the “First Four,” as they take on San Diego State in a play-in game for a spot in the Round of 64. The Aztecs come into tonight’s game with a record of 21-9.
