The Heels dropped their third game in a row, falling to the Pittsburgh Panthers 34-24 on a warm Saturday afternoon. To their credit, the Heels battled hard. With a noon kickoff, swaths of empty seats on homecoming weekend and the weight of the last two losses on them there were legitimate concerns this team would show up flat and uninterested. Effort aside, the result was the same, and the Heels are now 0-2 to start the ACC portion of the season.

Omarion Hampton can’t do it alone
For the second week, Hampton started out strong.
