It has not been a fun couple weeks to be a North Carolina Tar Heels football fan. After the mess that was the James Madison game, UNC followed that up by losing a 20-point lead to Duke. While the overall season record still stands at 3-2, it’s hard not to feel a deep sense of angst about Carolina football right now. While a win this week certainly wouldn’t completely erase all of that, it would help a bit.
This weekend, UNC will welcome the Pittsburgh Panthers to town for a Saturday afternoon clash. Pitt comes into this game 4-0, having picked up some solid wins over the likes of Cincinnati and West Virginia, while they dropped 50+ points in both of their other wins.
