For the first time in a decade, postseason basketball comes to Chapel Hill as the NCAA Women’s Tournament starts up in the First Round.
In it, the third-seeded Tar Heels will welcome back a healthier Alyssa Ustby and Reniya Kelly. Both were back in regular action by the time the Tar Heels lost in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament, but there’s little doubt that two weeks of rest and not having to travel to a tournament site for the first time in their career had to have helped their recovery.
The question is going to be how rusty the Tar Heels are.
