There’s no real good choice for player of the game in any performance where a team is held to 49 points at home.
UNC’s leading scorer was Cole Anthony, who had 15 points, but he also did that on a lot of shots, did not make a non three-pointer/foul shot, and had a 1:1 assist:turnover ratio on the game. He briefly appeared to be leading a rally attempt in the second half, but then didn’t score in the final 15 minutes of the game.
Garrison Brooks led the team in rebounds with seven, but Ohio State completely owned the board, especially after Brooks’ frontcourt mate Armando Bacot went out early with an ankle injury.
