UNC kept their season alive on Wednesday afternoon, winning their first 2025 ACC tournament game over Notre Dame 76-56. Carolina jumped out to a 17-5 lead in the first five minutes of the game and were never seriously threatened by the Fighting Irish. The Heels dominated Notre Dame in pretty much every statistical category and got the kind of no-stress win they needed to start their ACC tournament run. Let’s see what we can glean from the win as the Heels rest up for tomorrow.
