UNC snatched victory from the jaws of defeat on Saturday afternoon against Notre Dame, making the most of a clutch Elliot Cadeau four-point play in the final seconds to win 74-73 in South Bend. The Heels squandered an 11 point second half lead before rallying with Cadeau’s late game heroics. To be honest, I seriously considered giving Cadeau the Player of the Game nod. Cadeau has struggled mightily the past month or so with his shooting, defense, and turnovers. The ability to hit such a high pressure shot while being fouled and then sink the free throw for the win after seemingly getting in his own head was beautiful, and hopefully something he can build off of going forward.
