Earlier this week, the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team put in a solid performance from tip-off to final buzzer, for the first time in what seems like forever. While UNC has some wins of late, they haven’t always been the prettiest. However, against SMU, the Heels looked downright decent for almost all of the full 40 minutes, picking up a solid conference win.
However, they better hope that was a building block and not an aberration, because a team they really don’t want to lose to is up next.
Later today, UNC will make the trip to Raleigh to take on NC State as the two schools renew their hostilities.
