One drive into Saturday’s game against North Carolina Central, UNC fans everywhere must have been experiencing a powerful sense of déjà vu. The Eagles weren’t getting a ton in the run game, but with the help of a couple of UNC penalties, marched down the field, targeted Kaleb Cost for a big play in the passing game, and then ran it in from five yards out to take an early lead. From then on, though, Geoff Collins’ unit bowed up and dominated their FCS opponent, allowing just 3 more points in the remaining 52 minutes.
