The season is finally here! After what often feels like the longest offseason in the world, the 2024 college football season is here and the North Carolina Tar Heels will kick off tonight.
Tonight, Carolina will take part in arguably the most intriguing game of the night, as they be in Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers. Last year in the first half of this home-and-home, the Tar Heels handled Minnesota relatively easily, beating them 31-13 in Chapel Hill.
However, UNC has some pretty major differences from last year’s team. For one, all-everything QB Drake Maye is off to the NFL, while there’s been some coaching changes along the defense.
