The Tar Heels picked up their fifth win in a row on Saturday afternoon, beating Miami 92-73. Carolina once again looked like a completely different team on offense: UNC shot 59% for the game and 56% from three. They had 17 assists on their 33 field goals, often making an extra pass (or even two or three at times) to find the best shot. In short, they looked like what most people think of when they think of Carolina basketball.
This game was a pretty complete team effort. After only seven minutes of game time, eight different Heels had scored — a Cade Tyson free throw would make it nine different Heels in the scoring column by halftime.
