Welcome to 2025! Last night, we rang in the new year and today it’s time to christen it with some basketball. Later tonight, the North Carolina Tar Heels men will play their first basketball game of 2025 as they begin the ACC season in full with a trip to Louisville.
While they’re still not quite at the level of the Cardinals of old, Louisville has been much, much improved in their first season under Pat Kelsey. With a new-look roster, Louisville is 8-5 on the season so far, with a highlight being a run to the Battle 4 Atlantis championship game.
