What a fascinating week for the Tar Heels this has been. First, the UNC women’s soccer team won the NCAA championship against Wake Forest. Shortly after that, it was announced that Bill Belichick is the new head coach for Carolina Football. Both of these larger bits of news pretty much overshadowed the fact that the men’s basketball team is one loss away from having a .500 record, which in some ways might be a good thing. Maybe it’s easier to handle your business when everyone’s attention is pulled elsewhere, right?
For better or for worse, all the attention returns to them this afternoon in this game against LaSalle.
