I’m not burying the lede on this one. What happened on the field Saturday was a complete team failure. UNC losing to JMU 70-50 had nothing to do with any individual mistakes in execution, or any weak spots on the roster, or even any failures in scheme at the coordinator level. Rather, this loss, one of the worst in program history, comes completely down to attitude, preparation, and focus. There’s no buck-passing to be done here. In fact, while I usually give the coaching grade at the end of this feature, we’re going to put it at the top of this one.
