In what we can generously call a body-clock adjustment game (read: East Coast fan torture) for the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Heels warmed up for the Maui Invitational with a true road game at the University of Hawai’i. It wasn’t pretty, but in the end, the Heels pulled out a comfortable win, 87-69. It’s a little hard to parse out what among that ugliness was rust or jetlag versus what might be things to genuinely watch out for or even worry about, but that’s what we’re here to do — so here are three things we learned from this extreme edition of late-night hoops.
