North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback Jacolby Criswell shook off a fumble on the opening offensive drive to put together a solid day through the air and on the ground. The graduate student went 17 of 31 for 209 yards through the air. Criswell threw a touchdown to J.J. Jones, who was wearing Tylee Craft’s #13 in a show of support for his teammate. The touchdown pass cut the Georgia Tech first-half lead to three points. Although a big moment in the game, it became much more significant when news spread of Craft’s passing on Saturday morning.
Criswell completed passes to eight different targets, which is an encouraging sign for him and the team.
