UNC vs. Duke: Player of the Game - RJ Davis

Related Topics: Duke University

The North Carolina Tar Heels did not have the start or finish needed to secure the win over rival Duke.

However, UNC had flashes of brilliance, especially during the final eight minutes of the first half and first four minutes of the second half.

At the 8:09 mark of the first half, Carolina was trailing 36-21. Until this point, RJ Davis was 1-2 from the floor, hitting a three, and committing a turnover. Not much noise from the ACC’s all-time leader in conference games played.

With seven minutes remaining, Davis caught fire and led the Tar Heels on a furious comeback that ended with the team down just one point at the half.
