When UNC found a way to take down Pitt on Saturday, it felt like they just made one or two fewer mistakes than normal rather than feeling like they took a step forward. Fast forward to Clemson, and we saw a clearly better team beat down the Tar Heels in a way that just felt demoralizing more than anything. It’s hard to be angry, frustrated, or sad at this point. This just feels like we are all waiting for the inevitable ending to the season where Duke walks all over us again, we lose quickly in the ACC Tournament, and Hubert Davis makes headlines by saying he won’t play in the NIT because the team was so bad that he just wants to focus on the roster.
