The Tar Heels will take the field in Kenan Stadium for the first time for the 2024 season this Saturday. They do so with a major storyline completely rewritten thanks to a bad injury to quarterback Max Johnson, and so to some extent even though the season is 1-0 the Tar Heels are starting all over. It makes a game that should be a win for Carolina fascinating to watch.

Since Max Johnson’s injuries last week, word has been leaking out about how he was not only significantly better than Harrell, but that the whole “use two quarterback plan” was mostly a smokescreen.
