The North Carolina Tar Heels will play their first home game of the season against the Charlotte 49ers later this afternoon. The Heels managed to survive their trip to Minnesota last week, and now they hope to win their first full game without Max Johnson seeing action. Mack Brown has spent the week prepping Conner Harrell for the starter role that at least for now is solely his, and we will get our first real look at what that scheme will look like.
It’s easy to look at this game and think, “This should be a great game to experiment with Harrell,” but realistically they cannot get too cute with what they decide to try.
