North Carolina’s 105-60 win over Charleston Southern on Friday night was pretty much never in doubt. That wasn’t much of a surprise, as it was a buy game, likely designed to shake off the rust after a quiet holiday week.
In this one, after the Buccaneers briefly made the score 10-9, UNC went on a 14-0 run, led by over 20 at halftime, and never looked back from there. A large part of the reason that the Heels were able to jump out quick and cruise was the early effort of RJ Davis.
The Carolina guard has notably been on fire of late, and he continued that on Friday night, finishing with a double-double.
