The North Carolina Tar Heels have one final nonconference before the full ACC slate begins on New Year’s Day.
Tonight is the second time this season UNC has hosted another North Carolina school at the Smith Center.
Carolina is Campbell’s second ACC opponent on its schedule. In November, the Fighting Camels lost to Virginia 65-56 in Charlottesville.
Sluggish starts have been a problem for the Heels. The first game after Christmas against an opponent UNC should easily handle is a recipe for a slow start.
Let’s see if Carolina uses this game as a final tune-up before conference play.
