It took five weeks—three wins against bad teams and two off weeks—to really build back good feelings after a four-game losing streak. There was a thought that Carolina could somehow finish 8-4 and have a storybook ending to a season that was in some ways expected to go so much worse.
Then they got off the bus in Chestnut Hill. Or at least some people in UNC uniforms did, anyway. Let’s just cut straight to three things we learned in Saturday’s 41-21 loss to Boston College.
