The Heels hosted American on Friday night in their first game since the close loss to Kansas. After a slow start and some rust at the beginning of the game, the Heels blew out the Eagles, 107-55. A big part of that win was Elliot Cadeau’s play on both sides of the floor.
Cadeau had a great game on offense, compiling 18 points on 6-9 shooting. He also dished out 8 assists (and only 1 turnover) and generally ran the offense to perfection. It’s no surprise that American’s run to take a first half lead mostly came while he wasn’t on the floor; the offense looked less explosive when he wasn’t out there.
