UNC tight end Brandon Fritts announced Friday that he will transfer from the school for his final year of eligibility next season. Fritts, who attended Mentor High School in Ohio alongside former Tar Heel quarterback Mitch Trubisky, missed the 2018 season following knee surgery in the spring.
