CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – With its lowest scoring output of the season, North Carolina fell to Florida State at home Thursday evening, 61-51 in an Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball matchup at Carmichael Arena.
The Tar Heels are now 8-8 overall and 3-8 in ACC play after their third loss in a row. FSU improved to 6-4 (5-4).
Graduate student guard Stephanie Watts led UNC with 11 points off the bench. Senior center Janelle Bailey turned in a double-double, the 41st of her career, with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
