Last season, 35 percent of North Carolina's field goal attempts were three-point shots. The Tar Heels made 36 percent of those attempts. Plainly stated, UNC shot a lot of threes and made a lot of them. At ACC Media Day last week, Cameron Johnson said that UNC's reliance on the three-point shot last season was a big reason for its early exit from the NCAA Tournament. (Inside Carolina)
