UNC’s first seven opponents this season have a combined record of 24-27. But this Thursday, the Tar Heels are facing their first ranked opponent and toughest challenge. Similar to UNC, the No. 23 Pittsburgh Panthers are 6-1 and are vying for a Coastal Division title. Their only blemish was a 27-24 loss at Iowa back in September, which is a team that is still undefeated and ranked as the tenth-best team in the country.
