CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Eight high school seniors have signed NCAA Letters of Intent to compete for the North Carolina rowing program, UNC coach Anthony Brock announced Tuesday. Lily Brown, Muskan Chhina, Hattie Doherty, Francesca Fradianni, Madeline Lavin, Kate Livermore, Lindsay Miller and Nina Smoor will join the Tar Heel program in the fall of 2017.
“The interest in UNC and our rowing program continues to grow,” said Brock, who is in his third year directing the Carolina novice program. “With scholastic student-athletes seeing the opportunity to receive a top-rate education while getting to be a part of the tradition that is Carolina athletics, it makes sense that this is our strongest class to date.
