Football and basketball are opposites right now on the recruiting front. There is not much to report on football, while things are starting to heat up on the basketball recruiting trail.

- J.R. Walker, a four-star athlete from Clayton, NC was scheduled for an official visit to UNC on September 15. With the university closed and football game cancelled due to Hurricane Florence, this did not take place.
- As announced by Athletic Director Bubba Cunningham last night on Larry Fedora Live and reported by Inside Carolina, the indoor football practice facility should be operational by mid-season.
