It’s a slow time for recruiting in football and basketball; it’s too early in the cycle for most high school football players to be worried about making decisions and basketball coaches (at least, the ones good enough to be there) are focused more on their postseason than on recruiting. So we don’t have a ton of new news for you on the recruiting front this week. That said, it’s not completely bare, either, so here’s your weekly update on all things Tar Heel recruiting:

• The next big target for the Heels after their first three commitments is Salisbury linebacker Jalon Walker, but the tea leaves don’t look great for him.
