It has been quite a while since UNC has had a true dual-sport athlete for the football and basketball programs, but Hubert Davis is trying to make it happen with his 2026 recruiting class. Yesterday it was reported that Davis and his staff offered a scholarship to 2026 power forward Kendre Harrison. This scholarship offer is added to what is starting to be a lengthy list of scholarship offers from UNC this offseason as they try to piece together their 2025 and 2026 classes. As far if the football side goes, Mack Brown had already offered Harrison a football scholarship in 2023.
