Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels have offered a scholarship to five-star power forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, a junior at Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, Kansas.
Williams and company were recently on hand at the first open evaluation period in Dallas to watch Robinson-Earl play, and many assumed that it was just a matter of time before an offer was on the table. Williams confirmed his interest on Monday night when he offered the talented big man a scholarship for the 2019 recruiting cycle.
Robinson-Earl is the son of former Jayhawks forward Lester Earl, who played under Williams for three years when he was the head coach at Kansas.
