On Tuesday afternoon, Mark Mitchell, a 6-foot-8, 205 pound small forward from Shawnee Mission, KS tweeted that he was offered a basketball scholarship to North Carolina.
Mitchell is now the fourth player offered in the Class of 2022, and the second wing. Caleb Houstan (6-8, 190, Montverde (Fla.) Academy) was offered on June 30th.
Mark Mitchell plays high school ball at Bishop Miege High School and travel ball with the Kansas City club “KC Run GMC.” If those teams sound familiar, that’s because current Villanova star (and missed UNC target) Jeremiah Robinson-Earl played at both, before transferring his senior year to IMG Academy.
