On Wednesday afternoon, Inside Carolina’s Sherrell McMillan reported that class of 2018 UNC commit Rechon Black had decided to move back to Concord, North Carolina for his final year of high school.
The 6-foot-7, 180-pound point guard will spend his senior season at Cox Mill High School where he can be closer to his family and the community he grew up in; both of which played a large role in bringing him back home before moving to Chapel Hill next year.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have a young man with the talent and character of Leaky Black,” Cox Mill head coach Jody Barbee told McMillan.
