Don’t say I didn’t warn you that this update was going to be pretty listy. The list-releasing has not slowed down since it started in last week’s recruiting recap, especially in basketball. What can I say? School’s about to start for high school kids; it’s a great time to narrow your focus if you’re not quite ready to commit. Anyways, here we go.

• UNC’s biggest fish in the 2020 class, pass rusher Des Evans, has said that he’s ready to release a top 5. He’s starting to feel like the football version of Cole Anthony for UNC, where every indication for months has been that he’s all but locked in to being a Tar Heel, but he’s being deliberate enough with the process to make us sweat.
