UNC Recruiting: Marquette transfer Dawson Garcia has withdrawn from the NBA Draft

Yesterday afternoon, College Basketball Analyst Jon Rothstein tweeted that soon-to-be sophomore forward and potential Marquette transfer Dawson Garcia has withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft, and plans to play in college for another year.

Dawson Garcia tells me that he is withdrawing from the 2021 NBA Draft and will return to college next season.

Garcia also tells me that he is making a decision soon on his plans for next season.

The announcement of Garcia returning to college comes just days after Inside Carolina’s Sherrell McMillan confirmed that he was taking an official visit to UNC.
