The past week brought some big news for the football program, while the basketball summer circuits are in full swing. Here’s our quick recap of this week’s recruiting news.
Football
- Monday started off the festivities, when 4-star DE Myles Murphy verbally committed to the good guys. He becomes the highest ranked member of UNC’s 2020 class, clocking in as the 68th best player in the nation according to ESPN. As we mentioned on Monday, he is UNC’s highest rated defensive recruit since Jalen Dalton in 2015. Chad Floyd and I also talked about it on our podcast, Don’t Punt to Gio.
