2025 tight end Marshall Pritchett has committed to UNC. 247sports.com has him as the #36 TE in the class of 2025 but ESPN’s recruiting rankings have him ranked 17th nationally at his position.
In addition to UNC, Marshall also unofficially visited Alabama, Wisconsin, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, South Carolina, Michigan, Florida State, Tennessee, and Clemson in the past year. He also had offers from several other schools, including Duke... just sayin’. Ultimately, he chose wisely.
Of course people will first ask “how many stars?”. And while 6’5 215-pound Pritchett is listed as a 3-star, it should be noted that tight ends are typically rated differently than other skill positions as far as recruiting “stars” are concerned.
