The North Carolina women's tennis team finishes the 2016-17 season the No. 5 ranked team in the country, according to the final Oracle/ITA Division I Collegiate Rankings.
Carolina is the only program to finish in the top 5 each of the last five seasons going back to 2013. The Tar Heels enjoyed another record setting campaign in Chapel Hill. The team set a program record with a 33-3 dual-match record, won the ACC Championship for a second year in a row, and was awarded the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Team Championship and advanced to the quarterfinals.
