KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The North Carolina men’s soccer team was ranked No. 9 in the final 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association Division I top-25 poll, released on Tuesday.
The Tar Heels earned their seventh top-10 ranking in the last eight years going back to 2008, joining Maryland as the only two programs to record seven such nods in that time span.
Carolina posted a 15-2-3 overall mark in 2015, won the Atlantic Coast Conference Coastal Division and reached the NCAA Championship Round of 16 for the seventh time since 2008.
