Back in late June, The North Carolina Legislature and Governor were able to come together and pass a bill that allows for the sale of alcohol at college venues during college games. Other states already had policies in place for alcohol sales, and the move would allow all the college venues in the state to tap into another source of revenue.
Since the bill passed, there had been dribs and drabs of information to come out, and it was speculated that UNC would be gearing up to start sales in time for their first home game on September 7th.
